Ri Anderson

Ri has been an artist, photographer and master printer for over 20 years. She believes in making rather than taking pictures, and this is what led her to start creating fantasy portraits. A few years ago she gave in to her daughters' pleadings for a husky, and consequently she became the proud momma of her first dog. It didn't take long for her to turn her artistic talents to pets.

Ri's artwork has been exhibited extensively in the United States, Mexico, Canada and China. It has been published in journals in the UK, Australia, and North America. It is in the permanent collection of the Berkeley Museum of Art and the DeCordova Museum. Her current series is on tour throughout Mexico, ending 2020 with a solo exhibition at the Museo de la Mujer in Mexico City. To view more of her fine artwork, you can visit www.rianderson.com.
